CNC Milling of a Stainless Steel Manifold for the Pharmaceutical Industry
Irving Polishing & Manufacturing, Inc. was commissioned to produce a manifold intended for us on pharmaceutical applications. Working from 2D CAD drawings, this special valve was produced using 316L stainless steel on our precision CNC milling machines. This unit was constructed as one single piece, a result of our advanced processes and latest equipment. The inside diameter was polished to a 20 RA finish, with the outside diameter polished to a 180 grit as specified by the customer.
